Who Am I?

My name is Taha Usmani.

For over 10 years, I’ve been the decision-maker behind the hiring process at some of the world’s fastest-growing and most demanding companies. I’m not just another resume writer or career coach. I’m a senior talent acquisition leader who has run global hiring operations, built entire teams from the ground up, and worked directly with founders, executives, and VPs to determine who gets hired—and who doesn’t.

Coinbase

Led Canadian and North American tech, product, and business hiring through multiple growth stages. I worked with both execs and new grads — building new teams, piloting recruiting technology, and hiring for roles in Web3, software engineering, security, DevOps, finance, and GTM.

Capital One

Owned recruiting for high-priority technical and business lines. Recruited analysts, data scientists, product managers, operations, and leadership roles — directly partnered with senior leaders on hiring strategy, diversity, and onboarding.

Rogers

Managed end-to-end hiring for multiple business units — from operations and IT to digital and field management. I improved process speed and candidate quality, leading internal training for new hiring managers.

Agency and Consulting

Delivered on “impossible” hires for Canada’s biggest banks, consulting, and fintech — plus built out SaaS startup teams, public sector orgs, and top-10 insurance firms.

Global Scope

Sourced, interviewed, and hired talent in Canada, US, UK, Ireland, Brazil, Czech Republic, Singapore, India, and more.
